Why I Came Back to DREAM, and Why I Still Question It

I wanted to come back to DREAM, and I still question whether it was the right move. I wish I could give you a more confident answer, but I would rather be honest about where I am.

After everything I put into No Sad Days, changing the name was a real risk. It meant asking people to follow me away from something they already knew and loved, without knowing whether they would feel the same connection to DREAM.

I still love what No Sad Days was

No Sad Days was not a mistake. I loved its simplicity, the fun, and the fact that a design could make someone smile without needing a whole explanation. I don't want to lose that.

But DREAM gives me more room to express emotions that aren't simple. Hope and frustration. Love and uncertainty. The days when you feel good, and the days when you don't want to pretend.

I missed feeling that connected to what I was making. Coming back wasn't about erasing No Sad Days. It was about making room for more of myself, while carrying forward what people loved.

Listening has to mean doing something

I listen to our audience, even when the feedback is difficult. You are the people wearing the clothes, and your experience matters just as much as what I hoped a design would mean.

A name change doesn't fix a confusing policy, an unclear shipping timeline, or an experience that left someone disappointed. I don't want to talk about caring for people on a hoodie and then overlook how we treat them as customers.

That's why I'm making changes to our return policy and shipping. I'm working toward clearer, fairer return and exchange terms, and I've added processing choices at checkout so people have more say in how quickly their order is prepared. I also want the difference between processing time and carrier delivery time to be easier to understand.

The goal is fewer surprises and a better experience, from placing an order to knowing what to do if something isn't right. I won't pretend every issue is already solved. These changes are a start, and I need to follow through on them.

I want to make this better

Some days I wonder whether keeping No Sad Days would have been easier. I can feel that doubt and still believe there was a reason to return to DREAM.

Messages like "You Deserve To Be Loved" and "Tell Your People You Love Them" still matter to me. So does making something fun, comfortable, or simply worth wearing. I want DREAM to have room for all of it.

You don't owe me reassurance about my decisions. What I owe you is the willingness to listen, take responsibility, and keep improving what needs work.

I don't know yet whether coming back was the right move. I do know I want to spend less time defending the change and more time making the experience better for the people who give this brand a chance.

Thank you for being here, whether you found us through DREAM or No Sad Days. What do you hope I carry forward, and what would you like to see improve?
